Its great to see the Live at the Warehouse finds and options. I was wondering while that service is unavailable via ordering based out of Switzerland, are there any consistent brands and sizes that have been trending towards a higher percentage of HQ quality that anyone can recommend?

Two standouts for me were the Partagas D4 and El de Mundo Chox Supreme..both where 2011 box dates. Both had very nice wrappers and great barn-yard aroma.

I realize it can be hit or miss on these blind orders..but any guidance from the team and/or other members would be fantastic on their experiences.

Cheers Rob

Mate it really changes from month to month. There will always be plenty of bad eggs in the Monte 4 and D4 due to production quantities. I generally find "seams" of great product but across the board ...no.

Most consistent cigars over the past year have been the lower production Qty cigars:

Mag 46, Juan Lopez Seleccion 2, Connie 3, most Double Corona

Of course the 520 LE has been very consistent but that is starting to fall away.

PLPC in cabs and Shorts in cabs are generally very good. We just had a bad run of late.

The general summary I pin to the forum is perhaps your best guide month to month.

Have a great Sunday!

Rob

I thought the "Rob's Picks " section was a good idea...what happened to that?

Superseded by the monthly wrap up. You can do far more in a post than in a cart.
