Hi Guys,

I will be going to Cuba at the end of April. We will be staying in Varadero but will make a day trip out to Havana. I already have a list of few things that I want to visit, but was hoping to get some input from you guys as to the must see bars/cigar shops/restaurants in Havana and Varadero.

Thank you,

Marko

One day will not be enough rotfl.gif

if a day is all you have then it is enough for a walk through old havana (Floridita/BDM/Los Ambos Mundos)visit the fort (el Moro), see some cigar rolling there, Lunch at laTerraza (309 Prado), cigar at Partagas (2 minutes away).

Thanks Pres,

I know a day is very insufficient but I am only limited to the one day. We pay push for two but we will see.

Thanks for the replies

bar - cafe o'reilly, the balcony seats and mojitos are must

cigar lounge - LCDH @ Conde Villanueva (kinda hidden, look for the LCDH sign), great lounge for a smoke. For purchasing go to Partagas factory

restaurant - have to agree with El Pres, Terreza has a good combination of food and atmosphere. It's hard to find though, and don't let the hustlers trick you, the restaurant is at the very top floor that has the rooftop terrace (they sometimes try to lead you to one of the two restaurants below)

they're all in good proximity to each other so that will save you some time
