New arrival from Cuba

Hey folks!

Just taught I would share this happy moment with all of you. My good friend just came back from Cuba and was able to bring me my grocery list.

As you can see in the picture, 2 boxes of Hoyo Short Pyramides EL2011, 1 box of Ramon Allones EL 2011, 1 box of H.Upmann Robustos, EL 2012 and, at last but not least, a box of Cohiba Lanceros.

This lot cost me 970 dollars. Prices were up but not that much, well under the 30 percent mark we were talking a while ago.

The minute I open these boxes, I'll send more pictures.

Just unwrapped everything. Took the time to take some pictures before freezing everything for three days! Enjoy.

I found that not all stock in all LCDH had been repriced. In some Divans, they were only reoricing new arrivals and in others they repriced new and existing stock.

Cohiba increases certainly stood out. CORO at 340 CUC. Outside of Cohiba it looked pretty close to the 15%

Agreed with Rob. We found a ton of stuff that was still at the old prices.

The big change is that almost everything, full boxes and all, are now with price tags that show the per-stick cost, rather than a full box cost.

Well, it shows the demand of the market... y any chance, any of you guys know the price of boxes in CUC for Montes 520 and Cohiba P. Extra? I have another "mule" going to cuba in february and I have no clue of the price I need for 3 boxes of mentes and 1 of cohiba.

Prez, what is your take on the Allones 2011? Heard a lot of good on them, couldn't resist buying a box... But never smoked one. the price was too good to pass on.

You can't buy REs in Cuba. The onlye RE you could have bought is the RE CUba LGC jar when it was released. All REs are released to the country sponsoring them directly.

Monte 520s were 140CUC a box and the Cohiba Piramides Extra were 21CUC a stick (didn't bother buying a box).

Prices as of 2 weeks ago and possibly subject to another increase before next February!
