Gentleman Jack is blended to be smooth...don't think you will need ice or water. Like BE...i drink it straight up...

drink it the way i see alot of people that come in and buy a bottle with......... wait for it......... COKE! oooohhhhhh my god i just look and go why not buy some cheap @ss nelson county.

all seriousness try it like suggested straight and if you find it too strong add some water and next glass try some ice, hope you enjoy it i find it heaps better than the single barrel.

I was drinking gentle jack straight out of the bottle at my bachelor party. I was already drunk but I remember really liking it. The next morning wasn't so good.

Drinking it tonight with my pal while finishing the siglo 1's.

Cigars are not too good but the whisky is doing it's job, maybe not a good pairing?

I'm too new to cigars to know.

Go to jack Daniels website for an excellent overview and YouTube has videos on the process of making each label. I personally think that the GJ is the most consistent blend as it is SLOW filtered (see videos) twice and very smooth. I agree with others try it first with just a bit of water to open it up just like Scotch the go from there. I prefer 8 to 1 ratio

Cheers

I'm more of a Scotch drinker. However when it comes to Jack Daniels I think the Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is better than Gentleman Jack.
