Hopefully there are only those in the know, that have shared the experience of 2.1 Million Scoville's of pain, and the 'fun and games' that comes following the deployment of OC during training and operational deployment. (a Scoville is a unit of heat measurement in Chilli Pepper's - the principle ingredient of OC Spray & Foam).

And it sucks - it never gets better, age and the number of times you've been exposed doesn't help, the old wives tales and tricks don't work no matter how much you want them too.

The only solution I've ever found is a saline flush to the eyes after your exposure period, followed by continuous running water to the face for 15-30mins, and a few dozen washes with Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo for your hair (reduces the chance of re-exposure during a shower as it's Ph neutral).

Yep, OC can suck harder then a Kardashian in an adult film, but it's a part of the job, and an unfortunate part to it is that at least a handful of times a month you'll end up with a secondary exposure...(in which case you owe the poor bugger at least a six pack of top shelf beer, and NO - 'Low Carb' is not classed as a beer no matter how much you want it too be).

Then again it could be worse - Taser training is a lot more fun to watch (as long as it's not you on the barbed end) - but F&*KED if I'm gunna volunteer again for that !

Enjoy the reward Stogie !
