Rushman Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Born at spartanburg general, lived in rock hill then Charlotte til I was 12, then again for 2 years 12 years ago. There is a small formerly private street named after my grandfather in Greenville.....he owned a garage there most of his life. Still have relatives in GSP. One thing I miss most......,beacon tea........for those of you not familiar, the beacon is an old school car hop where little has changed since my parents went there 40-50 years ago. They make the best southern sweet tea in the world.
