Hohenthal Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 One more discontinued cigar... Dark colorado-maduro wrapper with a hue of red, oily, but sandpapery to the touch, very well rolled. Sweet spice and rum raisins at cold. Core flvours are rum pot berries, a rich nutty flavour and the "Punch" woodiness - which about untill 6 months ago was more like charcoal/campfire, but now has emerged into a sweeter, more caramel-vanilla woodiness like toasted bourbon barrel - sweet spice mix and coffee intermingled. That box has improved a lot over the last year (as I suspected) and will continue to do, I'm sure. A great outdoors smoke, any drink pairing would go (in my case a strong Diemme espresso). First 3rd 89, 2nd 3rd 92, finale 90; average 90/91, sheer delight! Best, Alex
CanuckSARTech Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Nice thoughts and observations, Alex. Thanks very much for sharing! Cheers.
ChanceSchmerr Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 A very underrated and underappreciated cigar......probably why it was discontinued. Great review!

Len Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Is this the petite del punch? I know there are about 3 different PC's from punch in recent years, so just curious.
