I'm planning to build a website for my cigar photos (and maybe some comments about cigars) and I'm asking for recommendations for free website designer software. Of course I could manage to do it with text editor, but that's not reasonable because I don't have too much time and I'd like to see the site as it is when making it. I don't see learning a heavy software very reasonable either.

There are many softwares for this purpose, but I don't have time to test them all. So far I have tried Namu6 and NetObjects Fusion Essentials. Namu is maybe too simple and does not seem to support thumbnails/big photos and NetObjects requires maybe a bit too much learning (just downloaded and had a quick look at it).

So, if you know some good alternatives, please give your recommendation.

Requirements are: Absolutely free, no trials or other hidden expenses - Simple to use. Thanks!

If it's just for photos and comments save yourself the trouble of building it from scratch and just find a wordpress template you like and modify to what you want.

Wordpress is definitely the way to go. I build a lot of sites with Wordpress and there are plenty of free themes to choose from.
