I looked through the humi trying to decide what to smoke for my first CC this year. I was going to pull out something special (a BHK 54, Grand Edmundo, or Monte A), but I decided to jump into the new year with an old friend. It seemed only fitting that I kick off the year with a cigar that has been nothing but faithful in flavor and construction, a cigar I can count on in any situation. I chose a Bolivar Petit Corona ;)

I built a small fire in the fire pit in the back yard, grabbed a cup of coffee and sat back to relax and enjoy a good fire and a good smoke. The Boli did not disappoint, it seemed to say "Thanks for looking past the glitz and glam of those other cigars. Here's a gift of sublime flavor and voluptuous smoke to ring in the new year." It was deliciously smooth, with sweet earthy notes and a buttery texture on the palate. I think I'll start every new year off with a Boli PC. When you have a good thing, sometimes it's all you need.

And thats what it's all about, enjoyment!!! I've never been one to gravitate towards the glitz and glam, BPC's just deliver and I'm glad to hear you had a great evening.
