Very mild cold-smell. Milkchocolate and light toasty aromas. A little hazelnut.

Smooth, round burning. Mouse-gray ash, amazingly stable. Closed structure with a slightly grainy surface.

1st third:

The small cigar starts directly. Strong earthy with notes of honest tobacco. At the same time significantly wooden (oak), combined with a slightly overlapping chiles' heat and nutmeg.

2nd third:

After the strong start, the cigar soft down in the 2nd third. The sharpness of chili will be replaced by black pepper. Dried fruit and cocoa shell are the base of flavor. Creamy, buttery.

3rd third:

Toward the end, the complex aromas sets again. Sweet milk chocolate, fine leather aromas are joined again, paired with fresh lovage.

Over the entire course of time, the smoke had a light note of vanilla, like a light flavor base.

Conclusion:

I have the impression that the cigar burns "backwards". Normally, a cigar starts milder, in order to increase towards the end. This one starts strong and is towards the end lighter, aromatic, complex, but also milder.

Very Nice Review!

You are a lucky fellow to have found these rare beauties! Enjoy them in good health!

Have never seen then before for sale, but they are one of those ones that i'd buy in a second if I ever saw them in a Tobacconist.

I'm looking forward to the Partagas Belvederes review - I never thought much of the cello-wrapped MM's initially, but I was astonished at how good a 98 Punch Belvederes was after I found a cache of them in Vancouver. I will always try them now when I see them!
