gigabyte056 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I have a box of these I bought 3 years ago, Tried one then and decided they need a lot of aging. Was right... Here we go, paired with Coke Zero. Nice wrapper, hard to touch. Foot looks nice. Initial draw , classic RyJ flavors spicy and sweet with vanilla and coffee. First 1/3 Creamy coffee ,spice with a vanilla after taste, very good, obviously better by age. Body is a little below medium and persists throughout the cigar. Second 2/3 Bland, coffee is gone as well as the vanilla, What did I do wrong? Final third Coffee comes back with a spice and vanilla backing, where have they gone in the second third I have no idea. Probably needs more age, put back the box to be reopened in 2 years. for the price these are very good, however considering the very long aging period I am having with them I am reluctant to reinvest. Rated the first and final third at 88, the second third took back the score to 84.
