Vortigan Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Found a nice little wine merchant in town today that also sells a very limited selection of Habanos.Picked up an RyJ Churchill tubos.Never smoked one before (nor any Churchill for that matter) so not sure what or how much to expect.Construction looks very good and there's a very sweet and pleasant cold aroma so so far,so good. Will be toasting it up in a little while and looking forward to seeing what I find Have a good evening/morning/afternoon everyone.Cheers, Mike
Vortigan Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 Lots of nutty toastiness in the first five minutes!! Excellent start!
thechenman Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Lots of nutty toastiness in the first five minutes!! Excellent start! Hope you enjoy the RyJ Churchill. It's a classic, but much to inconsistent IMHO.
nick17 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 i must agree with thechenman they are rather inconsistent but a lovely smoke I personally prefer the short Churchill it has better flavor i feel and he draw on the last few Churchill's I've smoke where to loose for me

thechenman Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Wide churchill is a great smoke ... but having MC#2 tonight At present the Wide Churchill is my favorite in the RyJ lineup. Absolutely fantatic cigar that is smoking extremely well right now.
