Fake Cohiba EL 2011 Esplendido size (or something close to it). My gifter confirmed to me this was a "glass topper".

Aroma at cold is decent

Construction is very un-uniform and bumpy with the bands being so tight, they have a strangle hold on the head. No triple cap

Draw is very tight, possibly from the squeeze of the band, seriously, this band looks like it has a better grip than a hose clamp.

1st 3rd- Smoke tastes and smells like it is coming from a garbage burn barrel. Not a lot of smoke, possibly due to the restrictive draw.

2nd 3rd- Strong hints of the Havana Journal coming through now, maybe the classified section. Draw has opened up a bit. I think this is a bad thing, more smoke means more displeasure.

Final 3rd- Can't take this anymore. Surprised I made it this far, think I'll eat some cat s*!t to get the bad taste out of my mouth. The best two adjectives to describe this cigar would be vile and disgusting.

I'm subscribing to the theory, that if you know it is fake, think twice before you smoke it. Unless of course there is a chance you could win a Custom Roll from the Czar.

+1 for the classified section joke. Well put!

It's like those umbrellas in fancy drinks, when you unravel the umbrella base there is all that Chinese writing on the paper. When you unravel a glass top Cohiba you can read the Cuban news! :2thumbs:

Come on, aren't you being a bit liberal in your allowances here? It's usually more likely to be the Mexican Daily News or the Beijing Times, IMO!!!! :P:D:P

Yeah, the Mexican news is probably a better bet since that is the REAL country of origin! It's all Spanish to me.
