Hi Gang,

I am quite uninformed when it comes to Cuaba but am very interested in learning more about them. Given that I don't have infinite funds, I wanted to ask you where you would start if you were me and if you could talk about any distinguishing characteristics of the large Cuabas.

Many thanks,

David

The most important thing is decent construction and a nice rich aroma at cold. Wrappers should be Colorado with a lovely sheen.

Distinguidos to me stand head and shoulders above the rest. Beautiful peanut and milk coffee profile.

Agree with the above. You won't find many fans of Cuaba on here though!

I would avoid the diedemas,as the others have been better in recent years.

The salamones has been the best, for me,recently.

I would advise trying to find them from 2010,as there have been improvements lately,in the construction mentioned above.

Hey Pres - you might want to update the 'mini-review' on the Czar website to reflect this. Currently the review suggests otherwise - Salamones good, Distinguidos bad...
