traded Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Hi Gang, I am quite uninformed when it comes to Cuaba but am very interested in learning more about them. Given that I don't have infinite funds, I wanted to ask you where you would start if you were me and if you could talk about any distinguishing characteristics of the large Cuabas. Many thanks, David
El Presidente Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 The most important thing is decent construction and a nice rich aroma at cold. Wrappers should be Colorado with a lovely sheen. Distinguidos to me stand head and shoulders above the rest. Beautiful peanut and milk coffee profile.
mazolaman Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Agree with the above. You won't find many fans of Cuaba on here though! I would avoid the diedemas,as the others have been better in recent years. The salamones has been the best, for me,recently. I would advise trying to find them from 2010,as there have been improvements lately,in the construction mentioned above.

Currently the review suggests otherwise - Salamones good, Distinguidos bad...
