Master roller Ramses was in Auckland on Friday 3rd Dec 2010. I had the opportunity to meet Ramses and observe a master at work at the local B&M. Ramses was rolling petite corona, robusto and robusto extra.

I met Ramses again later in the evening as he was demonstrating at very nice bar in the Auckland CBD. We shared about the experience and taste of smoking a freshly rolled cigar. I don't normally have the opportunity to smoke a freshie but I certainly agreed with both Ramses and Rob's comments and thoughts. Wow....wow....wow....the cigar had so much variety in the taste profile and aroma. The petite corona burnt great. draws perfectly and full of thick luscious smoke.

Too bad it doesn't look like the states will experience such an experience any time soon.

What is he drinking over there ?

Is that Havana Club Anejo Rum?

I thought he's from Partagas...

G'day Bob25

We were drinking Havana Club Anejo 7 Anos.

I understand Ramses works from the Partagas factory but he's also involved in the roller school and quality. Rob may be able to share more details. I was only amazed with his personalised Cohiba cufflink shirt :peace:
