chinamike233 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 hello all, just wanted to do a quick review of the dip 4 i had today while visiting family in china... bought this stick at a store in HK, but didn't note the year or box code... construction of the cigar was nice... colour was a uniform, light, milk chocolate colour... the first two thirds.... this cigar did not change AT ALL throughout the first two thirds.. the flavour was a creamy, milk coffee, kind of profile.... the after taste was a TAD bitter, but not in a negative sense (similar to the bitter after taste of milk coffee as mentioned before haha)... body was just below medium... the last third.... the dip 4 started to pick up a BIT of pepper towards the end but still kept its creamy, milk coffee profile.... i don't smoke very often at all and just recently started on FOH and getting to know the different marcas and vitolas, but this has been the best cigar that I have had.... this dip 4 made me realize the type of flavour profile and body that i want in a cigar... not only that, but i think i would prefer cigars that tend to stay the same throughout the length of the cigar (ie. not very complex).... this dip 4 gave it to me... in fact... i had a PLPC 2 weeks ago that started off peppery... then got sweet... then back to peppery... and it just didn't do it for me =S anyways, i'm babbling.... supposed to be a short review... thanks for reading!!!

The aroma is soooooo sweet spicey to me, not peppery at all. It will be fun to see if I pick up the creamy taste you mentioned. That sounds wonderful. Thank you for sharing, Curtiss
