ogus Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 OK. I'll play devil's advocate here: Yah, f'd up how he did it. Sure, he let down Cleveland and a lot of his fans there. Yes, many people are disappointed. But, Lebron is looking out for number one. It is his career, his money. Can't fault him for looking out for the best interests for himself and his family. Miami will be strong next year. It's gonna be a real competitive season. your avatar reminds me of when the NBA was the stuff of legends and dreams.

Seeing Bosh in Toronto for too many years, he can't carry a team on his back. Yes Miami is grabbing a few helping pieces, but Wade is so beat up, I can't see him helping like people think. He needs to take a huge drop in salary so they can get some more key bodies. I'm sure Wiggins will be dealt from Cleveland, but just Lebron there won't put them over the top. It's going to be a battle for sure. May be the tightest division in the NBA next year.

That post was made in 2010, in the "next year" that the poster was referring to, the Heat made the finals.
santela Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Interesting thread. I hope he wins one for Cleveland.
