Good evening/morning, Ladys and Gents,
just came back in from my usual after dinner cigar, today, a sancho Panza Non Plus.
If I may say, Non Plus (young examples) have never so far made as much of an impression on me
as have the Molinos or aged Belicosos -
this one however, an example from late 2007, was a remarquable experience.
Tons of exotic spices such as star anise and sechuan pepper
(without the side effects like a numb tongue),
a wonderful toastiness and the famous Sancho Panza saltiness which, to me,
is more of a mineral quality rather than plain NaCl.
Medium body, rather engaging on the nose more than on the palate.
All in all, a hugely enjoyable cigar, much underrated I think.
What are your thoughts?
Cheers, Alex
