Greetings everyone! Singaporean native here currently living in Boston, accompanying my wife on her PhD programme. I’ve been smoking cigars for about six years now, mostly Cubans, but ever since moving to the US two years ago, I’ve been on a bit of a cigar pilgrimage to discover new worlds that can satiate my spoiled palate. Sure, I know there are ways to get Cubans here, but I’m not about to risk deportation to scratch an itch. I’ve been following FOH for a while now, mainly for the reviews, but recently dived deeper into the threads and discovered Nudies/MOFOHs. I received my first order two days ago and can’t wait to light one up! Boston isn’t the most smoke-friendly city (unless we’re talking weed, but that’s a rant for another day). So if anyone in the area wants to meet up for a smoke, I’m game. Looking forward to learning more from the senseis on this forum. Cheers!

Hello fellow Friends of el Habano, I will start by saying that I am truly a newbie, I've never had a Cuban cigar. I am on the younger side from what I have seen in my local cigar lounge. All I know of Cuban cigars is from word of mouth where I live, which as my title says is land locked Ohio. I have a nice cigar lounge near me so I have bought and hoarded tons on NW cigars. I like trying new brands and types. I started with maduro/full body cigars, then branched out to try tons of others. I have way to many favorites, its sometimes hard to keep them all in memory. I am looking forward to some suggestions and hopefully ways to get into Cuban cigars without having to buy a whole box since I don't have a clue what is what. Also my username comes from a local restaurant called Skyline Chili, people who grew up here enjoy it others who have not it depends. Thanks in advance!

Cheers and hello from Arizona! Excited to be part of this community. About two years into my Cuban cigar journey and am hooked. Just bought my first electric humidor and have about 20 or so boxes in there. Wife already thinks I'm crazy, so I'm right on schedule!

Hey everyone, I’ve been smoking cigars for about 20 years now. I’ve dabbled in Habanos here and there but at some point decided that they weren’t worth the effort especially when all that great stuff that started coming out of Nicaragua about 10 years ago and continues to come from there. I’ve got a nice full-sized cabinet humidor and cigar smoking is nearly daily these days. I recently rediscovered Cuban tobacco again when I had a layover in Amsterdam last summer and picked up some Monte 2 (was always my favorite) and some Siglo II at the duty free. I gave them some rest but then when I finally started smoking them, I couldn’t stop smoking them. And I’ve got quite a collection of noncubans. Needless to say, I’m hooked. I went for an online hunt recently and spent a small fortune. Let’s hope I chose vendors wisely! ? I’ve been lurking a while. Signed up a couple of weeks ago but this is my first post. I doubt I’ll be posting much but I like reading what you guys have to say. Keep it up! Cheers!

Hi everyone, my name is Jayme. I have been a lurker here for some time and decided I may as well start contributing. I started smoking about 7 years ago but really started getting into it about 5 years ago. Being that I live in IL I started with NC's. 2 years ago I bought my first box of CC, a box of Bolivar PC and haven't looked back. Since then I picked up a box of RASCC, Partagas Mille fleurs, HUPC, and Monte 5's. As you can tell I'm a petit corona guy, and love "cheap and cheerful's". Looking forward to getting to know everyone and expand my experience with CC's.
