  1. Thank you. I will link it from here. I just didnt know if the admin's of this forum would appreciate that bandwidth getting used.
  2. Hello, The pdf file you have here about building a wine cooler humidor....may I have permission to post that file on another cigar forum, with all the credits to pigfish and this forum in the message? (I tried sending pigfish a PM but his mailbox is full. ) Thank you for your time. Dave
  3. Very nice!!!! I like it a lot!
  4. Thank you. I will send him a message, just as soon as I figure out what to say, in a coherent way that it makes sense in my questions.
  5. Howdy all! I have read over this topic a number of times, and looked through the rest of the forum here for more info on these beads. So I am going to toss the questions out there and see what you guys say.... The puckifier and RH beads from cigarmony, both release and absorb moisture. I kind of like that particular feature. Do the heartfelt beads do the same? I cannot find any info on whether or not they do. What are these beads made from? (either source) I stopped by my local tobacconist today and they had these little whitish crystal things, that you are supposed to leave in distilled water for no more than 10 minutes. they swell up and then release humidity. If you let them in water for more than 10 minutes, they swell through the screen, and makes a big mess that has to be cleaned up. Is that what happens with these beads from either company mentioned above? I dont like to sound like a newb, but I am apparently just missing where to obtain this info on my own.
  6. Thank you for all the warm welcomes!! heh heh....from the past tense sound of that, it sounds to me like you were/are one of the lucky ones that got out!
  7. Hi! I am new to FoH, and located in Central Pennsylvania, here in the USA. About a week ago, I found these forums, and started my lurking....I mean, reading of all the posts out here. Lots and lots of information, of brands and types of cigars that I've never seen, let alone heard about. I started enjoying cigars about a year ago, visiting a friend that smokes only Aston's. About 4 months ago, I found a local tobacconist that holds a couple events a month of different brands, and what a major difference that made in my experience! I never knew there was so much to know, or so many flavors to be enjoyed! Much of my week (this week) has been spent in the Humidor section, as I am looking for something better than I have that I can build or modify, and how to do this. But you can bet that I will be scouring the reviews sections, trying to find a baseline idea for new additions to whatever humidor I have. I'm not a big poster, but I hope to get to know all of you out here! Peace!
  8. Hello all! My first post here.... To Joachim, couple you maybe post some plans, or the dimensions/construction techniques here? I'm looking to build something to age my cigars in, and this looks like it might suit what I need.... Albeit, I would love some of the other toys I have seen on here in my three days of lurking while reading. D
