Don't know the vintage, since buying it as a single. It wasn't spectacular, it was merely good. It started out earthy and there was freshly ground coffee, but without sweetness. This developed soon as a burnt sugar flavor, maybe accompanied with very dark chocolate. It was definetely more on the bitter side, that might have something to do with the Jever beer. But the draw was perfect. I was definetely tired and when I woke up this morning I saw what I had left over, half? SO not to make anybody sick, but I didn't want to let that gp to waste. I cut about an inch of and put it to use. And it was'nt even that bad, considering what I had done. I've had some problems with the piramides ? , the best having been the diplo2. But this was not that bad. Maybe some more time. Now I'm looking forward to that Don ALejandro and the RE from spain.
