  1. Naah mate. No disappointment in not being able to buy coffee with Bitcoin. Can you buy a coffee with a sliver of gold? Nope. That’s what stablecoins are for. LN was the OG, but since Mastercard, Stripe and just about every scheme, processor and some levels of Govt are getting very very deep into stablecoin use and infra, it’s inevitable. 2. Wine farms will blow your mind. Delaire Graff, some in Constantia, Stellenbosch etc. too many to name but all excellent and great wines. Try to go to Babylonstoren if you can. Restaurants: La Colombe is compulsory. FYN, Potluck Club and Chef’s Warehouse are all winners too. If you’re a petrolhead go to the Franschhoek Motor Museum. Insane private collection. If you fly though Johannesburg their duty free often has some nice stock Edit: obviously no need to say, but do NOT buy Cohiba anywhere other than Duty Free. Take your own stock strongly advised. 3. Absolutely love it as a work of art. Craftsmanship Is beautiful. I wouldn’t be rolling with it at a herf, but it’s a stunning object. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yup. If it’s a day or two then I just wind it forward but else there are pushers for each function to adjust them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It’s the Leap Year indicator of the perpetual calendar. The red 4 means that we’re in a leap year. Next year it’ll change to 1 and cycle through 2, and 3 in subsequent years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Also note that AWD doesn’t stop you from hydroplaning. Handling is definitely better in all weather of course. If you’re set in AWD then only 911 or Audi R8 will hit the spot I think? There’s always an Audi RS-anything, Skyline GTR or Subaru but that’s ruled out by the “low” requirement?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Maybe slightly against the grain but In my experience I would steer you away from the Turbo. Long time petrol head been through M3, Z4 Mcoupe, M4, R8 V8, 3 x R8 V10’s (loved it THAT much), 458 Italia, 911.2 Turbo, Cayenne GTS, Lambo SVJ, 3 x 2023 Bentayga (faulty piece of shit, don’t ask!) and currently in love with my Urus with an SE en route. Moving from the 458 to the Turbo was a stark realisation into how soulless a Turbocharged car can be. Lightning quick, amazing handling and brakes etc, but zero soul imho. If you’re looking for something stick then my guess you want a “drivers car”. Try to go NA if you can.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Mate. I respectfully disagree with anyone that tries to convince you that there’s such a thing as work/life balance in the first few years of a startup. The startup IS your life. Emails, calls, clients etc are your universe for as many hours a day that you can handle and stay focused and functional. If it’s too much, you should be hiring people to take some load off. Don’t be under the illusion that entrepreneurship is a 9-5 job. It’s not. It’s 24/7 for years and that’s how you succeed. Also if it’s your passion it shouldn’t feel like a chore. Your family should see the obsession in your eyes and totally understand that you want to crush it now so you can enjoy the fruit later. Yes, you will slow down as you grow, hire, delegate etc. for now my advice is to push as hard as you can viably handle but DO NOT FORGET TO HIRE AND DELEGATE EFFECTIVELY. .
