Hi my room temperature never been an issue as i keep my house at 70 F, but humidity was around 60 at least in the house. when I received the unit i let it run at 70 F and 65 RH. The humidity was 67 inside the humidor so the devise havent ran even now when RH in the room is around 40 stilll havent ran so obviously cigars are too wet for the temperature Then i filled it with boxes that i had been storing in coolers @65 F and 65 RH. Should i bring temp down to 65, how long does it take to have my cigars smoking good after making setting changes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello everyone i recently received an avallo temp control cabinet and i am struggling cigars are bitter and taste awful temp is set at 70 F humidity at 64 RH any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

i been dry boxing for a couple of days seems to do the trick

I did remove the water from the humidication unit but still hovering at 67 RH how are you doing with yours?

Hello BOTL I will be receiving my new Avalo 2000 temp control humidor, I have been using bovedas for few years and been happy, now I am concerned because of the active humidity. Anyone using similar set ups and able to smoke directly from the cabinet without dry boxing. What’s the best hygrometer to purchase where I can monitor while am away and what other hygrometers I can put on different shelves. Thanks.
