Thanks all for the comments. I got so busy I forgot I posted this question. It seems I smoke very fast. I don’t like to relight and I think that has a bit to do with it. They’re Cuban so a touch up or two is to be expected.

How long does it take you to smoke different vitollas? I smoked a Monty number 4 tonight in what was probably only a half hour. Seemed fast, but tasted fine, and I enjoyed it. Just curious. 🤨

@JohnSit was the ‘Work of Art. I’ve actually never tried the Between the Lines. And I agree the Habanos prices are leaving me behind. @HoyoFan I second the Anejo.

Before I discovered the Cuban community, Fuente was my go. I love the Don Carlos line especially. The Short Story, Best Seller, and larger version which I can’t recall the name seemed to have the same flavor profile. It was much more about how long you wanted the smoke to last. Enjoy them. When in a cigar bar I always like to buy a few even if I’ve brought a few. I fall back on Fuente all the time.

So fake or real I am curious how did one smoke?

Like some others I mostly purge to try and get a poorly burning or going out cigar to relight rather than relight with a lighter or match. As an aside, it’s amazing how much smoke remains in the cigar (a function of size certainly) after one draws on it. I will often purge before a relight and I am often surprised at how much smoke comes out even though the cigar has essentially gone out.

There standard bottling is also a good go to at a reasonable price.
