  1. Another great review MT.
  2. I got a fiver of these for free also, and did a little reading up on them. I have not found a positive thing to be said yet.
  3. Tullamore Dew is my favorite for all around drinking. Bushmills 16yo has the complexity to stand up nicely with a cigar. I've tried almost all Irish Whiskeys, but for getting soused you just can't beat Tullamore Dew.
  4. » try remembering her birthday - every year. What do you do the other 364 days? :-P
  5. My only experience with these until recently was with a fiver from Nov 05, and I thought they were complete ****. I decided to give them another shot, and put two in a sampler I bought here. I don't know what the box code was, but I thought they were fantastic. Completely changed my mind on the cigar. My first experience with them is more like what you described.
  6. » Does anyone know what the average regular price for the ss#2 cab of 50 was » before they dissapered??? A little birdie told me around $430. Just hearsay.
  7. » » Partagas is offering so many great regular production cigars right now. » » Unless I already had a collection that included, at least: » » » » PSP2 Piramide » » PSD4 Robusto » » Series du Connaisseur No's 1, 2 and 3 » » 898 Varnished » » Coronas » » Shorts » » » » Well, I'd just pass on the EL's for now. » » Definitely every one of these is a must! If you want an EL get some of » the 2006 PSD3's I have about five each of the PSP2, PSD4, 898V, and Partagas de Partagas no1. I went through some Shorts, and while they were good, they didn't blow me away. I am a big fan of the others, and plan on buying boxes of them, but was thinking of jumping on the ELs while they are around. I have the PSD3 2006 on the way now, as I couldn't pass up on Partagas in a corona gorda. If the 2001 were still on the table, I would have gone that way, but they are long gone. I heard the 1 and 2 were somewhat close to these, and while the 06 were good, don't compare to the 01.
  8. I've been thinking about getting a box of these, but can't decide which. Right now I only have $$$ for one. Of the two, which would you go with, and is it worth springing for the other down the road?
  9. Welcome!
  10. Nice score. I've been searching for these for some time now with no luck.
  11. » these are great cigars. the funny thing is is that these were never » talked about or mentioned until they got the axe. » » bruce So true! I was hard pressed to find more than a handful of reviews anywhere before. People only now realize how good they are, and there will be no more.
  12. I've been wanting to try these for a while based on all the great things I hear about them. I haven't yet, because people also rave about the Mag 46 and I find them to be only so-so.
  13. Hope the pup feels better. Tough break.
  14. How does a fish that big not pull you under?
  15. I smoked one of these from a fiver about three weeks ago. Sep 06 also. It was the most sickly tasting cigar I've had yet. Nothing but ammonia. I set the others down for some rest.
  16. » I'd go for the Punch SS No.2 in about two milliseconds. I've heard so many » good things about it I can't wait to try one... Same here. Believe me, I've been looking.
  17. I'm with you Marc. Clicked the link, and at the bottom is a big gray box.
  18. Welcome aboard Dan. Good to see another familiar face.
  19. If I remember correctly, that Cuervo is the one in the fancy handpainted box right? You are paying for the artwork with that one. Cabo Wabo and Herradura are a little less than Patron and just as good.
  20. » » You boys better buy them up and YES they are that Great non stop flavor » and » » so creamy. » » » » And remember they are discontinued and they will be sought after trust » me » » they are that good.. » » year please I had an '03 the other day that was fantastic. I bought a fiver after seeing these will be discontinued to see if I liked them enough to stock up. Needless to say I will be buying at least a box. I take that back. These suck. Don't buy them. :-P
  21. » Greg, » » It's very nice to see you here. Glad you made it, mate! » » Wilkey Thanks Wilkey. Glad to be here.
  22. Hey all. My name is Greg, and I'm from NY. I was pointed here from CP by "Big" Shooter. Right now I'm big on Punch, Montecristo, and Partagas. I sell beer for a living. Looking forward to meeting you all. I recognize a few names already.
