I moved to Cayman 8 years ago from London - big city to small island is definitely culture shock. Island fever is inevitable but is easily treated with rum/cigar/hammock or short flight to Havana/Miami etc. It can be expensive, but upside is it is safe & easy to live here, once you get over the initial work permit paperwork.
