Bartolomeo
Wrapper is dark chocalate in color with oil spots galore, well constructed but looks like cigar was dipped in jheri curl Initial puff is pure light cream, no aftertaste and very smooth, hint of pepper in the background Flavors include some cocoa, Nestle chocolate chip cookies, spice cake, touch of cinnamon, Starts off a little mild with long finish of flavor, stays around Mild-Medium entire smoke Ash is flannel grey and flaky, some what of a log Showed some more signs of youth as others I reviwed lately and probably not as good ROTB but potential is there for years to come IMHO Little bit of Nicotine in last 1/3 Reminded me of a talented Freshman football player with loads of talent who thinks he is ready for Varsity, but not quite yet 9/10 with potential for 92 down the road Bart

El Presidente
Certainly sounds like a cigar I would enjoy Bart. Great to see such complexity in such a young cigar. The one good thing about the Regional Release concept is that marques not long ago on the "outer" are now back in vogue. The next step is to get them in regular production. thechenman
I would love to see many of the REs in regular production. Perhaps that is the plan with Habanos getting rid of some of their slow movers which will be replaced down the road with popular REs that they think will sell better. Now to go full circle what we need is the introduction of thing ring gauge REs so they can eventually become regular releases. Seriously...if you think about all the fuss and clamoring for REs, I'm sure thing ring gauge cigars would sell.
