Jakester Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Hello All, Are there any impressions out there regarding the 2008 Siglo IVs? I've been slowly working through a great box of BTE May 2007's and am very sorry I didn't acquire another, for they are surely among the finest cigars I own. I'd like to put another box of these into storage, and was wondering how the 2008's stack-up. Any thoughts are much-appreciated. Thanks and cheers to all!
El Presidente Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Along with the CORO, the Siglo IV from 08 has been the most consistant of COHIBA. They have a real richness that is not easily matched. I have set boxes aside from Feb and Mar 08 for myself. I have sampled later months and excluding normal shpment variations, they are just as good . It really is a matter of choosing or having a vendor choose a box with a rich aroma, good construction and some nice sheen on the wrapper.
