3am in the morning. Hallway of Nacional in underwear.

all i can say is don't tell rob anything in confidence.

i find this a completely unnecessary, derogatory attack that is nothing more than your squallid attempt to sully my clean-living image in response to my completely unnecessary derogatory attack that did sully your already sadly tarnished reputation.

but as usual, you have cocked it up. 3 in the arvo, not that it happened, not in the morning and it was completely innocent, not that anything happened. would take to long to write out the details but yes, there was one embarassed aussie in the corridor singing 'one day...' (the old rio advert). it all had to do with the location of the outer rooms in the executive suite and a gust of wind when i opened the window to take shots of the malecon and so on.

and one quick thinking maid who helped herself to all the loot she could spot.

Sorry Rob, but photographic evidence is required on these posts...words just don't cut it anymore....

So we have it confirmed that it did occur

Now for the important questions.

You were in your underpants......why did you need your camera.....and what were you photographing ;-)

Why weren't you in your own room at the time......ie why were you snooping in the adjoining room....with a camera?

Is it true you were wearing your favourite Elephant Ear Undies?

i could simply repost the post above which kinda gives it away. as mentioned, photographing the malecon from the outer room in the exec suite when the wind from the open window blew the intervening door shut with the key inside. so i had to go outside to get assistance.

i have typed this as slowly as i could so you might understand this time.

  • 1 year later...

So there we have it.

A grown man....(with a fondness for "dressing up")....caught in the hallway of the Nacional Hotel at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.....wearing nothing more than his "elephant ear" underpants....with a Digital SLR camera in his hand.

After trolling his floor looking for assistance....inciting hundreds of tourists into near panic....a brave Camarera approached him calmly and listened attentedly to the story of how Ken managed to enter his adjacent room (illegally) in order to take photo's of the Malecon (his 300th of the trip.....although it comes to mind that 3pm is the time kids leave school :lookaround: ). The Camarera then agrees to lead him back to his room (by the trunk? ) and then accepting the rather large bribe to keep quiet.

The stuff one normally only associates with British Politicians and the front page of "The Sun" :lol2:
