the chill of winter

Recommended Posts

thought i should let all our overseas forum members know just how we are suffering here in southeast queensland in the depths of winter. granted it is weeks since anyone saw anything even vaguely resembling a wisp of cloud but yesterday the temperature dipped to a chilly 26 celsius (to be fair, that was the max). today, it could go even lower. i was forced to put on a light sweater last night.

have no fear, we'll struggle on.

For those of us in the U.S. who slept through high school science, the conversion goes like this:

Begin by multiplying the Celsius temperature by 9.

Divide the answer by 5.

Now add 32.

answer: 26c=78.8F

Sounds rough, Ken. Hang in there.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your tough times. When winter hits here in Michigan it's non-smoking time eh I don't even want to think about that right now. Good luck and stay warm. :-P :-D
