We have run this poll before so it is time for an update.

What percentage of your purchases over the past 24 months have been Cuban Cigars?

Think 2025 through 2026

Here is the previous result. It will be interesting to see the movement over the past 12 months (if any)

I've guessed 40-60%, but as the person who sells me my cigars, I think you'd probably have some reliable numbers.

Not easy to get in the US unfortunately. The prices blow as well so...maybe 15%. I could never afford 100% Cuban nowadays being a daily blazer with limited stock and current market conditions.

Although, I have discovered farm rolls from some help from a bad influence.😝 I am guessing that will be 50% of my purchases this year.

I love so many NW cigars including and especially Fabrica 005/Bond Roberts. Also love my Davidoffs and Padrons, smoke a fair amount of Liga Privada and grab their limited releases when they come up, and have been appreciating Casa Carillo's new releases enough to buy boxes. Plus there are some LFD's I am quite fond of and will snatch off the shelf or online when I can, like the Andalusian Bull, Solis and La Volcada. Also, a friend just opened up a boutique focused cigar lounge and has been tempting me to try some new to me offerings from Casdagli, Warped, Cavalier and others. So my budget is probably 75% to 80% NW and 20-25% Cuban currently. I do enjoy my CC's, but there are SO MANY awesome NW cigars out there, and I want to smoke all of them. Plus I enjoy my B&M cigar lounges and of course I buy stuff to support them when I smoke there.

I'm in the 20-40% category. The only purchases were boxes of 10 to top-up those getting lower in stock. That's partly due to Cigarmageddon, and partly due to this country's insane tax/duty laws.

My schedule doesn't allow for much free time for smoking now with 2 young kids enrolled in 5 sports total, so I'm comfortable with my current stock for a long time.

Cheers!

About 20%, although I'm not buying much at all, and I bought a 25 ct of AF Short Storys which is skewing the numbers for this year. Going forward will probably be closer to 90% Cuban. Likely just 3 packs and the occasional replacement box when a favourite runs out.

Over the past 24 months for CC I have purchased 3 singles from my local LCDH. With the state of tourism to Cuba it is highly unlikely I will be going down for a holiday anytime soon, so I think for the foreseeable future it will continue with the odd single. Currently my collection is 28% Cuban and unfortunately I don't see this getting any higher as a percentage.

I’m saying 60-80% because while I but CC mostly in boxes I buy my NWs in singles or packs mostly. I’ve been focused on Cubans just because I want to make sure I have what I like regardless of any shortages or price increases. I’m gonna be a bit careful with my Cubans, won’t go through them as quickly as New World cigars but occasionally indulge.

I'm in the 60-80% range since farm rolls fall into this category. Authentic Habanos boxes came to 60 cigars (2 of 25ct, 1 of 10ct) for the last 12 months. All others have been farm/customs. All told my collection grew by around 300 cigars over the last 12 months so all but 60 were farms/customs. So far haven't bought anything new in 2026.
