This is an interesting question that's a little different than the "only one cigar for the rest of your life" question. Cohiba Esplendidos is always my "one cigar" answer, but one Marca makes me

Upmann for me, too. However, if funds are no concern, Cohiba would be my choice.

Two words. Anything Cohiba. The End.

I'm hard pressed to decide. They are all over the place over time so doesn't matter. Even Diplomaticos and Vegas Robaina will be fine for some variety over time 😝🤪

Cohiba by a country mile. Hating on it is just easy because of all the gimmicks associated with it now. But if we're scrapping all that and forgetting price, from a flavor standpoint it just is a notch above everything else. I will always love the Graham Cracker notes I get from Cohiba.

Second is H. Upmann. Sir Winston and the No. 2 are out of this world when they're on.

Partagas and Montecristo tie for third. Life is just better with a Monte 2.

If I have to choose it's Montecristo.

If price isn’t an issue, then without a doubt, Quintero. Most nuanced flavor profile, broad offering across the marca, ability to age.

I like smaller RGs.

So Cohiba classic and Siglo series would serve me well.

Or Monte and no. 1 through 5 and Especiales 1 and 2.

Or Bolivar and PCs and BCJs.

Or Partagas and 8-9-8s.

Or Upmann and just smoke Sir Winstons.

Or Hoyo and just smoke du Deputes all day long. This one and the Bolivar being the most realistic given prices and availability.

I’m going with Partagás, and I’m honestly shocked no one has brought this marca into the conversation yet (at least on the one page of comments I read). From the iconic Lusitanias all the way through their Maduros, Partagás checks every box for me: power, complexity, and consistency. And let’s not forget the Partagás Serie E No. 2… one of the most balanced Cubans out there, period.

It was my pick. Like I said, the marque ticks all the boxes for me.

I'd say if any of their cigars, including discontinued were available, SLR comes into mind for me...so many great options, they just work.

If discontinued were off the table, I'd have to go Cohiba probably...just too much variety with less consistency issues to ignore (even if I can't afford them!).
