The "dead internet theory" is a half-prophetic conspiracy that suggests that effectively the entire internet has been taken over by AI models and other autonomous machines. The vast majority of the posts and profiles you see, the theory holds, are just bots. In fact, you're barely interacting with humans at all — everything you access online is just a machine-maintained illusion, almost like "The Matrix."

Who am I guessing on FOH is actually a Bot?

Great video on this subject below.

As for bots on this site?  I'm sure a few have slipped through?

With the distance that AI has come, it won't be long before any human made content is likely to be drowned out by some real top quality BS to consume even more of our time and take all of that advertising money.

I'm human, AI wouldn't be this dour.

We can reassure everyone that the formatting, grammar, spelling checks and image corrections on FOH are not done by AI.

Furthermore, I am real too. My daily pursuit of excellence by seeking improvement in myself, and therefore others, is Aristotelian in its origin and is definitely not new, nor something that could be conceptualised by current AI as it now is. Now if AI could become sentient, that would be another matter.

Pfffft. Said every AI bot on the internet.

I don’t think AI tech is anywhere close to being able to simulate Ken.

I think Facebook will succumb to it first. Eventually the amount of AI bots trying to advertise slop will make everyone leave, and they will continue interacting with one another, competing to improve their ability to sell stuff to other AI bots.

So…when I say mean things about Ken it was the AI coding that was at fault! Good to know 😁👍🏽

Meat Popsicle - GIF - Imgur

Ha ha! Used to call actors 'Meat Puppets' but now it seems to be a term for politicians and soon everybody. Swings and roundabouts though. I think there will be a push for more 'natural' lifestyles (for want of a better term) moving forward. Albeit, I feel it will involve using the A.I. like a tool instead of letting the fear of it controlling us consume us and blinker decision making. I feel there will be a divide between ideologies. Hopefully it's not violent. Stay tuned. Oh, there was a blood moon yesterday. And we are still hurtling through space in a spiral within a spiral within a...

John can finally hide his divine powers behind the cover of AI.

We have already proven that you don't really count. The Universe decided that you are a cosmic chaotic anomaly!

I wish! That was a different time. As Marcus Aurelius so aptly put it, "the impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.” The obstacle I'm referring to of course was the Covid-19 Pandemic and the subsequent strict lockdown policies of the Australian Government at the time. I figured that if I couldn't go out to the barber then I'll make the most of it. It wasn't all bad though. The long periods of enforced isolation at home meant that I used my spare time to learn French, for example. Time well spent, in my view.
