La_Tigre Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I have not smoked a cigar in probably a year. Dealing with a lot of mess and disabling issues. No need to be on about that. What should I smoke? 2
Popular Post JohnS Posted February 26 Popular Post Posted February 26 As we age the saying, "life is short" becomes that much more relevant. Smoke your best (in your collection) and celebrate/be grateful! 👍 8
Popular Post ha_banos Posted February 26 Popular Post Posted February 26 Well, all things considered, I choose based on about 15mins per inch ☺️ I've no idea what your collection is like. But sounds like you can carve out enough time for a Churchill or something of that size. And if you've something/s that've been sitting around for a while. Give 'em a good sniff and pick. Don't forget to press along the length of it. Try to pick a good 'un. Hope you come back strong. I might finally pick a Trinidad La Trova. Whatever it is, enjoy. 10 1
unaslob Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Depending on inventory I would go with tried and true. Something that you have smoked before that has some ties to better times. Amazing how those neural link ups work. For me would be a PSD4. My first foray into Cuban cigars. Got it from small cigar shop on French side of Saint Martin. They have remained a staple for me. 4
Ford2112 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Since its been so long you may want to smoke something on the milder side. 1

No BHK or Cazadores. Maybe something well aged and mild. Windy out today so I’m thinking of giving it another day. Tomorrow should be clear and in the 60s F.

If I have a day where none of nearly 200 boxes of cigars sounds good, Punch 898 to the rescue! 1

La_Tigre Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 Quite a bit windy out today. So gonna try for a clear day tomorrow. God willing. I was thinking it would be a vitola and marca naming post. TBQH I am glad it was not because of the amount of searching I would need to do in order to find any specific item. I know what my favorite always was. I believe that is what I will go for first. Unless somebody throws out something the intrigues. 1
