Bri Fi Posted January 8, 2025 Posted January 8, 2025 @HoyoFan @TacoSauce, I'm not the best with flavor notes. I would describe it as creamy and cedar like sweet wood. The construction is spot on with tons of viscus smoke. It’s is the LAT 52. Strength is medium. 1 1
Popular Post Cigarsmoker81 Posted January 8, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 8, 2025 Padron family reserve 45 years natural. This thing was good. So far in 2025 it’s 85 years Padron. Padron makes great cigars. 5

Blazer Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 While the lancero is my favorite, I have to admit I'm also a sucker for salomons!

Chibearsv Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 Received an Illusione Epernay Lancero (Le Elegance maybe?) in the 2023 Ho Ho Ho exchange. I smoked it in January 2024 and really enjoyed it, so I bought a box of Epernay La Matin almost immediately thereafter since I like the Churchill/Lonsdale-ish size. I Just smoked one last week, box is date stamped '20 or '21. Again, a terrific cigar with tons of smoke, leather, rich dark sugar-roasted coffee, slight cream, and mild pepper. Turned the garage into a cloud for a while. Couldn't slow down on it. I'll try sipping the next one a little better. I don't know if the slight aging helped since online reviews referred to strong pepper and bitterness, mine did not have that. I'd certainly buy them again. 1

Popular Post HoyoFan Posted January 13, 2025 Author Popular Post Posted January 13, 2025 @Chibearsv Epernay is one of my favorite blends. I love the Le Grande. They only get better with rest. 5
unaslob Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 Hard to beat the Puro des Nudo Lancero. Also the CAO Amazon basin was a surprisingly complex smoke for me. 1
