Box Date: May 2020

Cold draw and opening 3rd: Draw is quite firm and getting a nice earthiness. The forest floor version of earthiness remains and a very raw rustic sweetness joins the party. The burn is a bit all over the place but I attribute that the the wind.

Second 3rd: I am kicking myself for not opening the cigar up prior to lighting. I also think I have found one of the fireproof wrappers I have read about. I mean it’s burning, but it’s doing so on its own accord😂. Flavors continue from the opening, not much changing here.

Final 3rd: No picture, it was too dark, but I must have made it through the blockage because everything is burning great!! The sweetness has been ramped up and the earthiness has been replaced with a muted fruit note. Baking spices make their presence known here as well, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. Loving this last part…really wished I would have upended this thing up🤦‍♂️

Lets chalk this one up to experience. It was a beautiful evening on the deck, and the cigar was not what I hoping for when I grabbed it. I’ve had quite a few spectacular examples of this vitola.
