Monte No. 2 TAO NOV 19 (OYMRW2)

Most of my experience with Monte 2s have been with aged examples sitting at about 8 years. I am excited to begin smoking some of my younger stock as I tend to prefer a bit more power in my smoke. 

This is a nice colorado wrapper with a bit of an oil sheen. Stick looks well packed and on the slightly heavier side. 

Opens up with fresh mown grass/hay. Very reminiscent of a fresh mown hay on a fall day. progressing through the first third this flavor maintains while introducing a bit of light coffee and earth.

Second third and the Monte chocolate arrives with a touch of creamed coffee. Burn is great. Medium body

Final third and the chocolate has gone bittersweet and the coffee notes are darker. Flavors get a bit more aggressive but we still are sitting around medium body. Overall very nice! 1 hr. 35 min.
