Personally, I see a lift in utility with 3-5 on each. Very much enjoying young D4 currently. Still 3-5 will see a significant lift. E2, just keep getting better and better with time down. I am enjoying an 8 year old box now and have had that box since 2014. It is a cigar that appears to have some serious aging chops. Mag 46 has that mongrel young (I love that) but 8 yearsor thereabouts sees them right in the zone for me. Mag 50 is magic 5-8. 4 3

Glass Half Full Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 Personally, I've never had an opportunity to enjoy a young Partagás. Love the old ones -- 5+ years -- but IMO would pass on the "normal" young ones (not counting madero). Again just my opinion.. 1

Highly recommend putting them away or buying old stock. Tried and compared some 2016 D4 tubos to 2020s and although they were good, I wouldn't mind smoking them then young either . I quite like that strength. 1

I tried one from a 2017 box earlier this week and it was excellent--but still very strong. I am thinking these will continue to improve with age--hopefully some of the veterans here can comment on how older boxes are doing. 1

I'm not in a position to age anything myself, but have been generously gifted and bought some and have a 2014 PSD4 and PSP2 to try, but I have been told that both age very well 16 hours ago, Glass Half Full said: Personally, I've never had an opportunity to enjoy a young Partagás. I have enjoyed a fair number of young PSD4's, PSE2 and PSP2 and have found them all very enjoyable with 2019 and 2020 dates. Looking forward to trying the 2 aged ones I was gifted to see how they change though 2 1
Tstew75 Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 I feel like Partagas can be smoked young or aged, while HUP needs some serious time to gel. I think the E2 is one of Cuba's best cigars, period. 1 1
BrightonCorgi Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 10 years would be nice. Not sure what to think at 20 years. 1
