For me a high percentage of quality smokes. Flavors, construction, draw and enjoyment tops of late.

I havnt had a RASS in almost a year...this thread made me light one up!

That average smoking experience % (good + excellent) is impressive.

It is! The red fruit flavor on some 2014 RASS's I had back in 2018 are one of the things that made me fall in love with Cuban Cigars! However I have 18 left of a clearance 50 cab from 2018 that hasnt been great, but I'm sure the 19-20 stock is lights freaking out!

I've yet to get stewed fruit, but admittedly about half of them have been frustratingly tight draws and turned bitter fast. Have sworn off trying another until the hit 3.5-4yrs. Haven't seen the magic of them yet. Cautiously optimistic

Interesting enough I had pulled my first one out of a tua abr 2020 box before this thread was posted to smoke tonight. First third was a 98 point cigar, couldn't have been much better. Youth started to show the rest of the way though. I imagine these will be phenomenal in 3-4 years.

What I have noticed is the intensity and flavors is more on darker color wrappers, but construction has been most consistent relative to other robustos I smoke.  Never had a tight draw, and very few were underfilled.

I've got a Superiores that's TUA ABR 20 that I'm going to be trying in the next couple of days... I can't wait..

One of the very few cigars that I think must have 5 years to get to where I like them. I've had I think 4 cabs since 2006 and the ones I smoked young were nothing compared to the ones at the end of an aged cab. I have some sleeping so this thread may get me to check them out.

I agree age does make a big difference with ones that are good to be start. I still have cabs I’m smoking from from 09,11 and 12 and they are outstanding. My newer cab is a 17 and it’s been very good but not as good. When I get half way through it I’ll put it into long term aging and then open up a MSU JUL 19 PSP cab.
