MC #4 - LEP OCT 16 (VVRW#2)

I'm smoking out of 3 different boxes of MC4s right now, and this happens to be the oldest CC box I own at the moment. These were purchased PSP a few months ago. 

 

Pre - Equal parts barnyard and sweet wood. Draw is on the firm side of perfect for me. 

Not breaking this down into thirds due to pointlessness. It's a one-trick pony with a few flavor bumps along the way. Its concentrated Monte cocoa & cedar. Early to midway through slightly burnt sugar weaves in & out with the occasional chocolate milk, the really thick kind you used to get in school. After the halfway mark a hint of hickory started showing through, disappearing quickly. Then notes of charred wood, still with the cocoa/cedar/tobacco core. Towards the end I think I smoked it a little fast and it started mis-behaving (likely my fault). Had a few hits of har shness & put her to bed. Seems like others from this box were a little better. They still have room to improve with time. 88/100

Nice review.
I really enjoy the monte 4's I have had recently and keep some on hand.
Even have some 2014's that were generously gifted to me that I'm anxious to try, but am saving for special occasions.
The 2019/2020's I have been getting are very good imho, even rott

Appreciate the review. Picked up some of the Monte 4 PSP from the same time frame. Pleased to know I can enjoy some while also giving others some time to develop.
