H. Upmann Petit Corona TOS NOV 16 (DDRW)

Again thank to my friend in crab cake world, @Lrabold89.  I recall enjoying these bit not at premium prices. I think that is mirrored well as they were discontinued.

1st/3rd. Well plugged. Not uncommon with our lovely habanos perfect draw to the rescue. Very I. Upmann. There must be a ligero leaf in there. It reminds me of my stong Sig 2 but with spice forward upmann flavor. 

2nd 3rd. This is a fantastic bourbon cigar. Cinnamon, cedar, brown sugar and some some paprika out the retrohale. I know you want to pay attention to the wrapper explosion but it happens with perfect draw. The binder is still in tact surprisingly, so we are good.

 

Pairing this with some simple old forester 86. And my goodness. Once I punched this open with 3 pokes of a perfect draw, I understand the comparison of this and the 2. Very good pairing of bourbon, I think.

Final 3rd. 

Gained in strength. Wood is prevelant now. Spices still here. Really opened up. Loving it.

 

Thoughts. I admittingly always liked these. For premium cigars at the time I did not buy many. I in any others did not as well, which is why they are dead. I have no idea how these are gone, yet RyJPC still exists. I don't know a soul that buys those regulary. I think it is more complicated where habanos knows they need to reallocate leaf to other demands. But that is stretch...

I personally love this PC. It is everything I remember and still has power. It reminds me of mix of the mag 46 and #2.  It still has unsettled flavors. Like the Sig 2 and coro,  I think there is a strong leaf that needs more than 5 years to show its refined flavors. But why wait when they are so good?

Good to see ya reviewin HUPC @BoliDan! Haven't review any CCs due to recent COVID spike. I also have PerfecDraw from Amazon and can't wait to use it in next Kimfessions like a marshmellow poker LOL.
