Hoyo Grand Epicure...Perfecto???

Recommended Posts

Aren't you missing a second band on there, EL I believe? I thought they were sweeter in profile than the normal hoyo but just my experience from what I can recall, it's been a while

Hmm...that looks like a double perfecto vitola and the Hoyo Grand Epicure was a parejo, a Montesco and a 2013 EL. Might just be the camera, but that ash looks awfully conical and the head looks awfully pointy...

working through a box of HGE's.

and that doesn't look like one.

but if you are looking for info on them, I picked up a nice aged box last year. Smoked 6 or 7 from the box of ten. They have all been good cigars. I'm not good with explaining flavours, etc, but I know every time I finished one, I was impressed.

That’s what I thought. This belongs to a friend of mine in ?? and he can’t recall the source and is baffled.

Vitola is look like “perfecto” shape

Is this a fake or an unknown novelty

No clue. Seems like an odd choice for a fake. And indeed, it looks to be a double perfecto shape; bigger than what you’d see with the Elegantes. My friend says it’s been in his humidor for at least 6 years.
