Every week we're going to have a poll about the definition of a forgotten or obscure word. Pick the definition you believe to be the correct one. All voters (correct or not) go into the draw for an El Pres Sampler!!   (Drawn Tuesday morning, Brisbane time. Please note: Polls don't show on Tapatalk, you can participate via a web version of the site)

@Fuzz is now co-piloting this with me, and he's delivered a great word and some superb decoy definitions this week - Thanks Fuzz!

NO GOOGLING OR DICTIONARY USE! We're using the honour system. It's just a bit of fun. If you know, you know. If you don't, have a stab in the dark or an educated guess (if you prefer that term). ;)

You may elaborate about your choice in the topic thread below if you wish but no posting of any official definitions, etc., that will give away the game for others.

Now you know the drill, vote away!  Good luck and may this comp prove to be a fun palaestra that turns us all into better word-grubbers, if you know what I mean...

Shoulda gone with my first choice.

Lesson learned. Go with your instincts! I made the same mistake!?

I guess sometimes the obvious sounding answer is the right one.  Another whiff on my part.

So I'm a dumbass, realized it after your post and hid it. 1,000 apologies

It is one thing to go mollynogging, but don't be mollynogging in your frame of mind. For it is good to be mollynogging when mollynogging one's wife, but don't lose focus, or you may be accused of mollynogging.

:P

Meet Molly Noggin, the silly, playful, hip-swingin' wind-up toy.  I'm assuming the name is derivative, but it's not much of a clue ?

I was thinking of one person in particular when I chose that word. Maybe not now (well, definitely not now, as he would get a monumental bollocking), but in his younger days? Definitely. :rotfl:
