Popular Post Bagman Posted November 2, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 2, 2019 This was given to me by fellow member SammySam. Big thanks to him. It is not a cigar I would buy myself because I do not care for over 52 ring gauges. Though I had a monty 80th that I loved and ended up buying 2 boxes of Leyanda. I also recently had a wonderful Partagas E2 (also given to me by Sam) that I loved this week. So perhaps I'm warming up to larger sizes. Aged to 4 years which is where I tend to like my Epicure #2's and Hoyo DC's. So I thought this was the perfect time to try it out. Initial Thoughts/Start:. Loads of sweat cream almost whipped cream Progressed to: Chocolate came and created sort of a hot chocolate/whipped cream thing. I guess letting it age to 4 years caused the chocolate to come out After that: Cinnamon added to the cream. Hot Chocolate, whipped cream and cinnamon. What a combo! Further progression: Chocolate fades out leaves the cinnamon and cream, but the chocolate would come back from time to time 2nd half: Coffee, chocolate started to take over. Made me think of those chocolate covered espresso beans I would get at the coffee shop with my latte. They would always put one right on the lid. Ended with cedar, almond, and a tad of citrus Quite a journey, cigar had a lot of evolutions, lot more than usual. I really dug this cigar. It lasted 1:40 and it was another large cigar that I now love. 10
