Popular Post Iznogood Posted July 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2019 The good about this cigar is that with few years on, it lost all the bite and harsness that it had and is really smooth, the thing that I didn't like is that I'm supposed to write a review and the dominant aroma that I'm getting is something that I cant really put my finger on. It has a litlle bit of zestiness and a bit of a sweetness so I can see how others say it taste like an apple but that is not what I would call it. Beside this I taste a old leather and tobbacco. And I did get something very specific which is strange for someone who does not have a very good palate. It was a smell of wallet compartment for coins, I was geting copper smell in my nose in combination with old leather smell. I'm very new to cigars so I don't have a cigars with a lot age on them, my oldest is from 2016. The development that I saw in regios with this few years is really something that I love. All the harsness and bite is gone from cigar and what is left is clean notes and smooth smoke. If that is what I can expect from cuban cigars I'm really looking forward for the years to come. My score for this one is 4/5. I didn't have time to dry box this one properly so I used El Prez method with fridge that he mentioned in another thread recently coupled with leaving it on draught overnight. I thing it was really necesary because regious are really packed heavy. They are very hard and have no give whatsoever. After dry boxing it this way I felt that draw has improved. The little crack on top did appear after this process. 7
