mwaller Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Every once in while, I run across a cigar that has an unmistakable bread or grain character to it. Some might call it brioche... fancy bread. Can you think of any cigars that consistently deliver bread-like flavors?
harley33 Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 To me, an aged SLR delivers the flavors that you are looking for. Unfortunately the DC and Series A are MIA and Churchills are discontinued. Regios are the only readily available option....
Deeg Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Partagas SD4 consistently gives me a bread note. Pepper-potato bread (if you've had it - like from Acme in San Fran - you know what I mean) when younger. Sourdough with a little more age. I think Partagas generally can have a bread-like character.
teamrandr Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 I find that Upmann Half Coronas have a bit of a cinnamon raisin toast thing going on. 1
Habana Mike Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Upmann, certain Hoyo and SCDLH present that profile most for me.
HumidorJuan Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 The final third of my Cuaba Distinguido was very breadlike imo
Bucky McSwensen Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 I got a a deep bran flavor in my VR unicos recently. That was a fun treat
nKostyan Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 San Cristobal with light wrapper. Also Trinidad La Trova 1
