Before I even knew what surf guitar was, I loved the sound. RIP Dick Dale.

Will never forget walking around a festival in London a few years ago when I heard some amazing guitar sounds from a tent over yonder and I was draw in as if by magnet. It was Dick Dale in full flight and I'd never seen anything like it from an "old guy" before-110% energy and fun. He rocked that tent, everyone was jumping, even me, and that's some going. Put all the young bands to shame that weekend.
