prodigy
Its Christmas day and I needed to get outside. I woke up with a sore throat and headache. Powered through present time with my brother in laws 2 young daughters. Apparently they both had to have the most demonic, hateful, ungodly toy ever made, the cry baby doll. It's literally a doll that screams like a crying baby, and it doesn't stop... I was resting, trying to nap away a bad headache, and all I hear for hours on end is crying dolls. I had enough, grabbed a 2013 Juan Lopez #2 from the legendary mystery split, poured a healthy glass of glenmorangie nectar D'or and headed outside to try and calm my headache another way. I used the tap water method to hydrate the wrapper. I have been noticing a huge difference when using this method. The cigar explodes with flavor right off the bat. So much better than the many fresh JL2 I've smoked to date. I'm actually getting the orange peel I've heard of, but never seen on my palate. The whisky is phenomenal. It was a 4 bottle, 200ml sample pack. It's probably one of the best highland scotches I've had. The cigar has just the right draw. It could looser but its smoking great. The flavors are so good! My phone is not showing the text I'm writing, so I'll credit the post later in Hope's its visible as I write Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
prodigy
I cant see my text that's already been typed in tapatalk. The cigar was amazing, as was the scotch. Perfect pairing! Merry Christmas!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
nonameno
Hello Prodigy, Great review of one of my favorite cigars! It's such a trusty and reliable friend that never lets me down. The weather there in North Carolina looks nice for this time of year too. I have too many months to wait until I can enjoy a cigar outside here in Minnesota. :( Thank you and Merry Christmas, Curtiss

Thank you and Merry Christmas, CurtissThat picture is actually in Wisconsin haha. My mother in law has a hoop house for her large gardening operation. It blocks the wind and heats up about 20 degrees warmer than the outside during the daytime. It's been surprisingly warm here this year, I've been lucky to get as many cigars in as I have. Last time we were up here 2 years ago, there was 2 feet of snow on the ground and the average temp was well below 0.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
