Popular Post havanaclub Posted September 30, 2018 Popular Post Posted September 30, 2018 I have only smoked one of these Rott and decided to see how they are coming along. I got this from our host in a clearance deal on 24:24 I would say there are similarities with the CoRo but it’s not a smaller version of it imo. It’s more full and in your face, will be interesting to see how these evolve with 4-5 years on them. Construction was excellent, tightly packed with a perfect draw. I decided to punch this sample. Paired with some glenmorangie scotch and a moosehead lager to finish. First third had all the honey sweetness with some serious pepper on the retro which I don’t get as much with a CoRo. Second third was your classic Cohiba grass/hay with only hints of sweet tobacco notes. The final third was like a blend of the first and the second thirds, picking up in intensity. The honey notes came back to the forefront and the retro still demonstrated the pepper note with a touch of a cookie like note. This is what prez must mean by biscuit. Solid smoke with a slow burn and tons of smoke production. Just over an hour to nub this beauty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 7

joshhooper7 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Glennmorangie is my favorite scotch to pair with a Cohiba. For ~$30 US Glennmorangie 10, "The Original," is an amazing whiskey. Rich, full of honey and toasted brown sugar, light and floral; pairs so well with the honey and floral flavors of most Cohiba's. Now you've got me thirsty and craving a Cohiba! 1

You guys get stuff so cheap and relatively easy like Cubans too I need another bottle...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
