Went to Mexico this summer and contacted Rushman for details on his shop in PDC. Unfortunately Rush wasn't in Mexico at the time.

When I got to his shop, although small, I found the selection of cigars excellent, Hoyo, Monte, Party, Trini, Cohiba, R y J, the list goes on. All the brands and vitolas that were available seem for the actual cigar smoker and not the poser.

Picked up  a Trinidad Fundy for my b-day, could not resist . The employee lifted several sheets of cedar to pick the best cigar and the cigar was placed in a sealed bag with a pack of wooden matches. Love that old school service.

I wish I had more cash but the days excursions and meals put a big dent in my cigar budget.

Anyone going to the Cancun/Riviera Maya area should do a pitstop over to Rush's place in PDC on fifth avenue. Great selection, awesome service and best prices in Mexico.

5ta Habanos next to yo amo tacos.

Muchas  gracias amigo

Rushman hasn't been around here in a long while, it seems.  Last few posts he made here said he had moved to California, I believe.

Rushman, post something and tell us how you're doing.

Yep, what he said.

Kinda got lost in the shuffle of the real world again. Also just moved from socal to Bay Area few months back. I need to get back to the board and smoking again. My schedule has been very hectic (including an unwanted daily commute) since the move. Glad I checked in to see this message.

Will be heading back to PDC for a week sometime this fall or winter. My favorite part, besides cutting the cord from work, is working in the cigar shop again, if only for a week.

Thanks for the kind words Balboa.
